The Design-Build method allows Cardinal Construction to be the single contracting entity for both design and construction. Due to strong relationships with numerous architecture and construction firms, Cardinal can ensure projects meet clients’ needs from both design and budget perspectives.

While we typically contract with an architect who is local to the proposed development, with a professional architect on staff, our team guides the process of architectural design, planning, building codes, building code standards, project management and peer review. Our team can scrutinize architectural drawings that include specifications of design, calculations, local building and zoning codes, and time planning of the building process. Our team analyzes planning and project documents to ensure the project meets function, constructibility, and code compliance.

The project owner faces fewer risks and the project timeframe shortens while the design phase and construction phase of a project overlap and happen simultaneously. It is an ideal method if you are seeking a “one-stop- shop.”
